Bugs, Dance Lesson, David, etc.

So this is what Gabby picks out when she dresses herself. Grandma Kay bought her this shirt when we were all in Destin last summer and it's still her favorite. I've stooped so low as to hide it for a time. The shirt is fine, it's just what she pairs it with. Yes, she did wear this to school. Once she gets something on, there's no convincing her to change a thing about it.

We went swimming Saturday morning. Gabby made friends with the other family at the pool and took over their water toy. Poor Ducky was kicked to the curb. Gabby's new thing is hugging and kissing EVERYONE goodbye. The family was leaving the pool and each one of them received a kiss and hug. They were very gracious about it. Last week when I picked Gabby up from school, she stood in the middle of the room, raised her hands in the air and said, "Who wants to hug and kiss me goodbye?" All the little girls complied. Gabby tracked down each boy and made sure each of them got one, too. I think most of them secretly liked it, they were just acting tough.

The Torgersons were in Arkansas for about 10 days. David really seemed to miss Gabby. He insisted on having his arm around Gabby yesterday while they were hangin' out.

Gabby LOVES bugs! Ladybugs are her favorite and she tries to keep them for pets. Whenever we're out walking, we have to stop and inspect each and every bug we come across. We speculate on what it's doing, where it's going, and who its family is. Oh and her hat is her "swimming hat."
