Gabby & the Geese

One of Gabby's favorite places to visit is Sugar House Park. There is a huge pond filled with seagulls, ducks, and geese. We go feed them a few times a week. The geese are very bold. They sneak up on her and still the whole piece of bread from her. She laughs as they fight over the bread. She has a great time and thinks that geese are very silly.

Elder DeVaux

Gabby and I took my brother Gabe to the MTC on June 20. He'll be serving in El Salvador San Salvador East Mission. It was fun to see him off and see how excited he was to begin his mission.
Elder DeVaux is official with his name tag "They're actually letting me in! Two thumbs up!"

I'm actually in a picture and not the photographer (this is getting increasingly rare)

Gabby

Gabby in disguise
Gabby loves to help water our lawn. She does it in style, too.

Richfield has a Fish Grab set up for the kids. Gabby didn't catch any fish, but she had a lot of fun in the water.
Gabby is really into body art. I left the room while she was doing some watercolor and she decided she needed a blue hand. If she gets a hold of a marker, she always colors some portion of her body. She found a pink highlighter and colored most of a leg, toenails, and fingernails

Another fun craft of making fishing poles. Gabby was obsessed with fishing the whole time. The fishing poles worked great and Gabby's older cousins caught quite of few fish.

My House (cont)

Our bedroom. Everything in here is new. We went for a contemporary look and left the walls as they were.
Gabby's new swingset. I put if together all by self. It has a slide and swinging seesaw that I hadn't put on when I took this picture.
Front view. We are really enjoying our home!

My House

These are of Gabby's room. Her room was just painted. It used to be "Nasty Orange" as I termed it. Gabby really loves her room and I really love having all her toys stay in here!
This is our guest room/my office. That's a daybed so there's plenty of room for company. My brother Gabe was our first guest and some friends from medical school have stayed here, too. So far no complaints. We welcome any friends and family to stay with us anytime!

This is the family room in the basement. I painted it a couple of weeks ago as well.

This is our front room. We're still looking for a coffee table, but it's pretty much done.
