Is it March yet?

So perhaps, January wasn't all that bad now that I'm seeing what February is all about! The positives are that I'm really enjoying my new job with Farmers Insurance. I'm training to be a medical claims adjuster. There is quite a bit to learn, but I'm getting the hang of everything and feel like it will be something I like. Gabby has liked preschool (at least on the days she's feeling well).

I'm moving into my townhouse on Saturday. I'm really excited about it. It's 3br/2.5ba, really new, attached garage, close to fabulous shopping, and great amenities are included. I bought Gabby a twin bed that she's really excited to have. I found a really great washer and dryer for a great deal as well. I still haven't started packing, but I think I'll just pull an all-nighter on that tomorrow. I plan on posting some actual pictures once I get settled in.

My poor baby girl just can't seem to get well. Last Saturday Gabby was running a really high fever and very lethargic. I took her to the ER at 10:30 pm. They ran some tests, gave her an iv, and determined it was viral and sent us home at 7am. Jenny watched Gabby all day Monday and she seemed to be fully recovered. I got her nasty cold in the mean time. On Wednesday, her daycare called me because she was running another fever. I picked her up and took her to the doctor. She has an ear infection on top of everything else. This is her first ear infection ever! She's with Jenny again and sleeping away all this sickness.

Oh and of couse it snowed at least a foot yesterday. We did have 2 days of pleasant weather and it was heat wave in the 40's! I'm a bit nervous to see what the next half of February will bring.

I am still feeling so blessed and I'm grateful for my fabulous family and friends supporting, listening, and praying for me so much. I know their prayers are being heard because I can feel them working. It's a very unique and humbling feeling to be aware of so many prayers offered in your behalf. I feel so happy and hopeful about my future whatever way it goes.

Trish

Hopefully the worst is over :) At least you get to move into your new town home. That will be nice for you and Gabby. Have a fabulous valentine's day.

Golly, it sounds like you've had quite a few exciting weeks! It's nice you have family to help out.

Why the move to a townhouse?

We miss you at Med Wives!
