Gabby and Pooh Bear. Gabby's favorite ride was the Winnie the Pooh ride. We rode it at least 5 times a day and she never tired of it.

Disneyland: Day 2

We met Mickey early on Day 2.

This was the highlight of the trip. We watched the High School Musical Parade and they invited the kids to come and dance. Gabby ran out there and tore it up. She shook her little booty all over. She threw a tantrum when she had to come back to the crowd. She was the star of the parade and had everyone laughing and clapping at her dancing.

Disneyland: Day 1

Gabby picked out a new monkey, she named it Abu. I was shocked that she didn't name it Monkey .

Gabby did love meeting all her favorite characters. She had just bought a Jasmine doll before we met the real Jasmine.

Gabby's 3rd Birthday

Gabby turned 3 on September 2, but we celebrated on September 1 at Brick Oven with all of the Greenwoods.

Utah Lake

Nick finally had some time off, so we headed down to Utah Lake. It was a beautiful day and we had a great time as a family. Nick skied the slolam course and I skied the open water. Gabby is very helpful with driving the boat and pulling in the rope.

My Half Marathon

I ran my first half-marathon (13.1 miles) today in Provo. It was great. It was a beautiful day and the temperature was perfect. The couse was gorgeous, it was along the Provo River and we ended at the River Woods. I finished in 1:52 and am really pleased with that time. I didn't think I'd come in under 2 hours. I felt really great during the run and it went by very quickly. My knee bothered me minimally. The last mile was the hardest and felt the longest. I'm hooked and can't wait to race in another!

Meet Fishy

Gabby has a new pet, Fishy. We bought a beta fish and aquarium for her this week. She's very happy to have Fishy and talks to him a lot. On the first day, I heard her saying, "Come here, boy" so went to check on her. She had Fishy in her hand and was petting and inspecting him. I got him right back in the water and he survived 3 days now so I think he's a tough fish. I taped the lid shut so he should stay put from now on. Gabby has been begging to take a bath with Fishy, but seems to realize that it's not going to happen.
